Woodrow Wilson Elementary School Drives
Woodrow Wilson is a low-income school in San Antonio. Cavalry has been fortunate to support them with various drives throughout the school year. In August we collect school supply donations for the teacher’s classrooms, and during the fall we collect coats for any of the kids who don’t have one. Two years ago, we donated so many that they haven’t needed anymore since! During the holidays we donate Turkeys for their Bingo Fundraiser as well as adopt 4-6 families for angel tree and provide them with Christmas! All these donations are provided by all the employees in the office, we are fortunate to have such great participation.
Construct a Kid's Christmas Gala
Every year partners within the Construction Industry come together for a gala that benefits foster kids serviced by the Bexar County Child Welfare Board. Cavalry participates in this event in multiple ways. We host a toy drive within our office where we collect unwrapped toys for the kids leading up to the event. The night of we donate the toys and participate in the silent auction, as well as the live auction where they auction off hard hats that were decorated by the foster kids.
East Central ISD Stock Show
Cavalry donated all the belt buckles for the winner of the ECISD Stock Show and Rodeo, we also donated additional monetary funds towards all the other ECISD Ag Students who participated in the Stock Show and placed at the auction. We also support the district at fundraising galas and dinners where the funds raised go directly back to the classroom for grants for their teachers and students.
